POG2
As you know over two hundred years ago our founding fathers created a constitution to protect our rights and to crate better justification to protect our rights. In America we have a lot of conflict dealing with our rights and constitution. Years ago our constitution didn't help us but since 1800 our constitution has change a lot. I do believe our constitution solves conflict because of a class simulation. I also think our constitution resolves conflict because of our human nature by the way we the people act and how our constitution makes it better. An example of how our constitution change over time because of case that dealt with an African American man name Dred Scott .
In a class simulation we came to a fault were we dealt with major conflict. We separated into different parts of our government and had groups such as a house of Reps., Congress. Citizens etc.. I was in the citizens group and played a major part dealing with the ideal to society. Within this group we tried to put a halt to the ideal to society which also dealt with the ichip. A citizen name Justin Bryant sued the government because of our constitutional rights using the 1st amendments 4th amendment and the patriot act. The 2/3 of the House of reps. tried to impeach the president because he was being unfair and doing illegal things. So this is an example of how our constitution resolves a conflict.
Another reason the constitution change over time to resolve conflict is because of the Dred Scott. The Dred Scott case involved the courts vs. Dred Scott. In this case Dred Scott filed suit for his freedom. After an eleven year case the Supreme Court finally said that Dred Scott should remain a slave. Around this time our constitution didn't resolve conflict for all Americans males even woman. Now our constitution wouldn't have taken eleven years to make a decision because Dred Scott wouldn't have to argue his rights for freedom due to the first amendment of our constitution as in WE THE PEOPLE.
Furthermore our constitution is great at solving conflict now. Our constitution resolves conflict due to our human nature because if we choose to do something that is bad to our constitution, we basically get checked because we choose to do wrong and we don't have the right to go against our constitution. When were at anywhere at all we have the right to amendment nine, which protects our privacy anywhere. So basically depending upon how we act or what we do our constitution can help us with our checks and balances and conflict and compromises.
In conclusion our constitution does effectively resolve conflict. It helps us in many effective ways to make our world better. It helped us in class simulation, which gave us a better understanding of how our constitution works. Also our constitution has effectively gotten better at resolving conflict since the 1800's and the dread Scott case. And finally it helps us in a way it affects to our human nature depending on what we do and how we act. So does our constitution effectively resolve conflict well yes I am afraid it does.
